1. Desired start date - ASAP
2. Full time on-going - End of academic year
3. Minimum end of academic year however likely to be extended for the right candidate
4. Temporary
5. Hours - 8am to 4pm
The key aspects of the Admissions Officer role are to:
6. Ensure the efficient and accurate organisation of all aspects of the school's admission arrangements and processes
7. Lead the admissions process and organisation of the selection test, working collaboratively with other administrators and senior leaders in pursuit of this
8. Manage the school's waiting lists and all communication with potential parents in accordance with the admissions policy
9. Update school database with all relevant data in preparation for school census returns
10. Respond to all admission enquiries, advising new and prospective students and parents of school procedures and admissions criteria
11. Produce proof of address and proof of on roll letters as required
12. Provide all staff with information on new arrivals
To be eligible for this role, the potential Admissions Officer must:
13. Be creative, patient, and willing to think outside of the box
14. Previous experience dealing with Admissions in schools
15. Strong organisation skills and attention to detail are critical
16. Able to work under pressure in a busy environment
17. Hold the right to work/eligibility in the UK
18. Enhanced DBS certificates or willing to get a new one
19. Provide specific references
