Job summary Applications are invited for an enthusiastic and committed Consultant Physicians in Acute Medicine based at the Rochdale Site. We are also looking to recruit a specialist doctor as part of this recruitment. We are looking for applicants who will bring a focus to high performance and quality of care. Applicants should be able to demonstrate extensive experience in Acute Medicine and for the consultant post must be within 12 months of CCT in Acute Medicine or General Medicine and a complimentary specialty, if undertaken. Main duties of the job As an Acute Physician you will provide cover and leadership to both the Clinical assessment unit, specialist dementia medical ward, the Same Day Emergency Care Unit, and medical patients in the Urgent treatment centre. You will work in collaboration with clinicians in medical subspecialties on other sites within the NCA and the Urgent treatment centre team. The successful applicant will be able to competently run the acute medical take and provide support and supervision to the multidisciplinary team.
