Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Pump Engineer required to join a leading mechanical engineering supplier.
The Successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Pump Engineer will provide mechanical repair, service and maintenance on various pump systems including submersible, hydraulic, diesel engines, electric motors, and other similar pump solutions at customer sites across the Norfolk and Suffolk areas. Full product training provided.
The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Pump Engineer will ideally have a service background in electromechanical or mechanical engineering such as compressors, filtration, generators, pipework, valves, pumps, vacuum systems, motors, gearboxes, plant machinery, rotating equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, and / or electromechanical engineering equipment.

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Pump Engineer Role
Provide mechanical repair, service and maintenance on various pump systems including submersible, hydraulic, diesel engines, electric motors, and other similar pump solutions.
The Pump Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance at customer sites across the Norfolk and Suffolk areas. Full product training provided.
Installing pump systems into all forms of the manufacturing industry.
Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various pump equipment.
Workshop based in Great Yarmouth when not at customer sites
Liaise with various engineering departments.
Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Pump Engineer Requirements
Service background in electromechanical or mechanical engineering such as compressors, filtration, generators, pipework, valves, pumps, vacuum systems, motors, gearboxes, plant machinery, rotating equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, and / or electromechanical engineering equipment.
Proven diagnostic skills on complicated electrical or mechanical engineering systems.
Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Service Technician, Hydraulic Engineer, Mobile Engineer, Mechanical Fitter, Workshop Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Installation Engineer, Pump Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or similar.
The ability in maintaining good professional working relationships with existing and new customers.
Good working knowledge of three phase electrics and controls is advantageous.
A technical engineering degree / qualification or apprentice trained, would be advantageous.
Willingness to cover the Norfolk, Suffolk area, and be based out of the workshop in Great Yarmouth when not at customer sites
