Main duties of the job
* NMC Registered Nurse
* You will have evidence of relevant on-going professional development
* Able to assess risks and take appropriate action to manage identified risks
* Able to work as part of a team, and take responsibility and management of the area.

Qualifications
* NMC Registered
* Evidence of degree / working towards higher degree or equivalent experience
Experience
* Evidence of management / leadership skills
* Experience of mentoring, supporting, coaching and developing staff
* Able to assess associated risks and take appropriate action
* Communicates condition related, sensitive information to patients, public and staff.
* Specific knowledge of the clinical area
* Is currently deputising for senior sister / charge nurse
