Your new role
Working within the established team, the Assistant Accountant will be involved in a range of duties including:
1. Reviewing monthly sales data.
2. Handling accounts payable and procurement responsibilities.
3. Contributing to the preparation of monthly accounts.
4. Managing credit control, including the recovery of outstanding payments.
5. Preparing monthly prepayments and accruals.
6. Assisting with the year-end preparation of statutory financial statements.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess a minimum of 3 years' experience working within a busy finance role or a finance qualification with a professional body and relevant experience. The successful candidate will be an excellent team player with a flexible and helpful mindset. Applicants should possess proficient written and oral communication skills and have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
