Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong office skills and a proactive attitude, ensuring the smooth operation of daily administrative tasks. This role is essential in supporting our team by managing various clerical duties, data entry, and maintaining effective communication within the office environment.
Responsibilities
1. Provide comprehensive administrative support to the team, including managing schedules and appointments.
2. Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all information is up-to-date and organised.
3. Utilise QuickBooks for basic financial tracking and reporting as required.
4. Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary to ensure uninterrupted operations.
5. Answer phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while addressing inquiries or directing calls appropriately.
6. Assist in the preparation of documents, reports, and presentations using Google Suite applications.
7. Organise files and maintain an efficient filing system for easy retrieval of information.
8. Collaborate with team members to support various projects and initiatives as needed.
Requirements
1. Proven experience in an administrative role or similar position is preferred.
2. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
3. Proficiency in computerised systems including Google Suite; familiarity with QuickBooks is advantageous.
4. Excellent clerical skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry.
5. Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues and clients.
6. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving capabilities.
7. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills are essential for success in this role.
