Are you a Naval Architect or Mechanical Engineer that has an interest in the IMO Regulation Safe Return to Port?
Our client is a leading provider of specialised software products designed to help the maritime industry efficiently manage ship regulations during both design and operation phases. Since 2002, their products have demonstrated a proven track record in aligning with maritime industry regulations, significantly enhancing the safety of life at sea.
In this role, you'll become responsible to leveraging our cutting-edge software products to provide analysis services directly or to support deployment to customer sites, both onshore and onboard vessels. The primary software products that the business use are the following:
* Systema™: Dive into the world of passenger vessel systems design, utilising shipyard documentation to model and analyse digital systems against IMO Safe Return to Port regulations.
* SRtP Onboard™: Delve into shipyard Safe Return to Port documentation, extracting crucial information for onboard tools and conducting meticulous reviews to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
* EVI™: Take charge of modeling and analysing ship designs in compliance with IMO Evacuation analysis regulations.
To excel in this role, you'll need a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Mechanical Engineer, Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Marine Technology and more. This coupled with a solid foundation in computer literacy, strong experience in computer modeling and simulations, and a keen eye for detail and a sharp analytical mindset.
Some key skills that would be useful for this role are the following:
* Experience using Systema™ and/or EVI™
* Knowledge of Safe Return to Port and/or IMO Evacuation regulations
* Experience with Passenger vessel system design
* Previous hands on experience within ship systems
