Children’s Registered Manager – Residential Service Salary between £50,000 - £57,000 (Dependent on experience) Cumbria Overview Compass Associates are proud to be working in partnership with an established children’s provider within Residential care, who offer support to children and young adults with complex needs, to recruit for a Registered Manager to oversee their children’s solo residential services based in the Cumbria area. The Candidate As the Registered Manager you will have overall responsibility of the day-to-day operations of the service, including the leadership and management of the staff team and continuous collaboration with the company’s quality team. You will be overseeing the efficient delivery and development of the service whilst working closely alongside the Senior Management Team, where together you will ensure the children receive the best care. You will possess a deep working knowledge of health and social care, particularly in relation to Ofsted rules and regulations. Moreover, they will also require strong people management and communication skills, as well as sound commercial understanding. Essential Criteria A minimum of 12 months’ experience managing a Residential Children’s Home. Proven expertise in leading and developing teams of support workers. Comprehensive knowledge of SCCIF, Children’s Home Regulations, and Quality Standards. Ideally, a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management. A creative, compassionate leader with a passion for working with children. A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport. Clear DBS / CRB Location This position is based in Cumbria, and is commutable from Carlisle, Keswick, Whitehaven, Maryport and Cockermouth.
