Training Consultant

£35,000 – £40,000 per annum
About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and engaging Training Consultant to join our clients team on a permanent basis. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys developing others, delivering high-quality training, and working with both internal teams and external customers.
If you have experience in product or technical training—and ideally a working knowledge of UK Building Regulations Part B (Fire Safety)—this could be the perfect next step in your career.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver clear, engaging product and application training to internal teams, salespeople, and engineers.
* Provide installation and product knowledge sessions to customers and stakeholders.
* Work closely with managers to ensure staff are trained to competency standards (SKEBs), identifying gaps and scheduling necessary sessions.
* Maintain and update training materials to reflect the latest technical and product information.
* Support the operation of our upcoming training facility.
* Manage training records, feedback forms, and scheduling.
* Keep training rigs in top condition for live sessions.
* Issue training certificates and maintain accurate registers of completed sessions.
What You’ll Need
* City & Guilds Level 3 in Learning and Development or an equivalent education/training qualification (can be working towards this when in the role)
* Experience in delivering training in a technical, construction, or product-focused environment.
* Will need to qualify in - IFE Level 3 in Passive Fire Protection (can be working towards this when in the role)
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple training programmes.
* Familiarity with UK Building Regulations Part B is highly desirable.
* Confident in using MS Office and maintaining accurate training records.
