Family Support Worker – Early Help Birmingham 09/01/2024 – 3 months initially Monday to Friday, 8.45am – 5.15pm, 36.5 hrs/week Direct working with children, young people and their families offering support and guidance Using the early help assessment to identify needs and develop a support plan Identify issues that require escalation Deliver evidence based interventions to affect change Support on healthy relationships, parenting, guidance and boundaries Provide a timely response to the needs of children, young people and their families Promote the welfare of children and young people Work with key agencies to support the family’s needs and make positive changes Keep and maintain records on work, preparing reports where necessary Organise and chair case planning and review meetings, and attend conference meetings Requirements Recent experience in Family Support/ working with vulnerable children and families Experience of delivering evidence based interventions Experience of completing children assessment Able to identify issues that require escalation and be able to escalate these Willingness to undertake relevant training in order to comply with the requirements of the post Enhanced Child and Adult DBS Certificate that is registered onto the update service Recruitment is done in line with safe recruitment practices. 4Recruitment Services in an equal opportunities employer.
