QHSE Manager
Location: Stonehouse, Gloucester (with relocation options if required)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on qualifications and experience
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, Friday, 8:30 am – 1:00 pm

Job Summary:
Are you an experienced QHSE professional with a proven track record in quality management, health and safety systems, and compliance? My client, a global leader in the design and manufacture of skid-mounted rotary compressors, is seeking a QHSE Manager to join their team during an exciting period of growth, including a relocation to a new site in 2025.
The QHSE Manager will ensure compliance with statutory requirements, maintain ISO9001:2015 accreditation, and foster a strong health and safety culture within the organisation. This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Experience Required:
* Proven experience in managing and implementing QHSE systems.
* Background in quality inspections within a manufacturing or engineering environment, including metrology, calibration, FARO Arm, and CMM.
* Strong knowledge of ISO9001:2015 standards and auditing.
* Experience in risk assessments, emergency procedures, and regulatory compliance.
* Ability to liaise with customers, suppliers, and third-party inspectors.
* Hands-on experience in leading health and safety initiatives and delivering training.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and monitor the company’s QHSE performance to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
* Maintain and update Quality Management Systems, ensuring ISO9001:2015 accreditation.
* Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, and accident investigations.
* Liaise with customers, suppliers, and third-party inspectors on QHSE matters.
* Lead Health & Safety/Business Improvement Committee meetings and deliver training to staff.
* Report on QHSE performance to the leadership team.
* Act as a subject matter expert on QHSE matters, providing consultancy to subsidiaries and affiliates.

Salary: £38k - £50k
