Join our client, a dynamic and growing company, as a Drawing Office Technician and play a key role in delivering high-quality manufacturing drawings and technical documentation for a range of projects.
Responsibilities:
* Produce accurate, checked, and high-quality manufacturing drawings to support material purchasing and project delivery
* Prepare and issue all relevant drawing office documentation, including planning drawings, detailed drawings, and material lists
* Conduct site surveys and visits to gather necessary technical information
* Ensure all specified materials align with project specifications and structural requirements
* Work closely with Estimating to review and validate design calculations
* Maintain up-to-date supplier and product information for the Drawing Office
* Identify and implement improvements to enhance processes and efficiency
Requirements:
* Experience in a drawing office, manufacturing, or technical design environment
* 2D or 3D design knowledge required
* Strong knowledge of technical drawings and structural design principles
* Ability to interpret engineering specifications and produce precise documentation
* Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
* Willingness to conduct site visits and engage with different stakeholders
