Key Role Responsibilities Project Site Supervisor will be tasked with numerous responsibilities that are crucial for the smooth running of construction projects. The role is quite diverse and will involve but not limited to the following: • Delivering projects from date of appointment to handover of completed site works, including writing of Construction Phase Plan. • Site set up for each project. • Fully inducting and managing contractors for the duration of the project • Raise permits/isolations as required. • Give out daily site briefing's/toolbox talks to contractors • Regular site inspections and carry out HSE audits. • Collate any hazards and observations to encourage best practice. • Carry out daily dynamic onsite risk assessments. • Review RAMS and manage CDM under section 15, including health and Safety. • Liaise with contractors and clients and maintaining relationships. • Receipting of purchase orders on the CBRE Coupa system. • Coordinating of contractors and managing deliveries to site to ensure project timescales are met. • Attending site meetings and completing site reports. • Assisting project managers with planning work activities. Role Requirements • SMSTS/SSSTS Qualifications • First Aid • Working knowledge of construction tools and equipment • The ability to interpret site plans • Good leadership skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent organizational and communication skills • Use of Microsoft Office/360 • Proven experience of working on construction sites The successful candidate will also need to be able to obtain SC clearance. The supervisor role will be mainly based in Cardiff and the surrounding area covering multiple sites but there may be occasion to travel including overnight stays on projects around the UK when required.
