We have opportunities for day-to-day supply work beginning in September that can develop into full-time or part-time positions based on your availability. What the role entails as a Teaching Assistant Provide individualized support to a child aged between 3 and 11 with special educational needs. Assist with daily classroom activities and access to the curriculum. Implement and monitor tailored learning strategies. Record progress and provide feedback to the teacher Promote the child's social, emotional, and academic development. Adapt teaching materials to suit the child's needs. Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment. What we look for in you as a Teaching Assistant Experience working with children or adults in a caring capacity. Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude. Effective behaviour management techniques. Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic classroom environment. Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
