Associate Principal Scientist - Drug Product Development
We are looking for:
An Associate Principal Scientist, a subject matter expert, to solve complex drug product development issues for assigned projects and support the execution of formulation development programs involving phase-appropriate formulations and processes to support clinical studies or client needs.

Requirements:
* Degree or equivalent in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Science, or Chemistry related discipline with at least 5 years of experience in a GMP environment.
* Evidence of successful application of technical skill sets to resolve high complexity formulation challenges.
* Ability to effectively contribute to multi-disciplinary scientific teams and to lead and supervise staff.
* Knowledge of drug product formulation and development, as well as regulatory and cGMP requirements.
* Cross-functional project management experience and strong analytical skills.
* Effective written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present scientific findings.
* Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
* Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office.
* Dedication to continuous learning and professional growth.
Key roles and responsibilities:
* Design, plan, and execute experiments, interpret results, and plan additional experiments with limited guidance.
* Document and report results of experiments in accordance with department practices and policies.
* Demonstrate expertise in formulation laboratory skills to support drug product manufacturing processes.
* Participate in the development of new technologies or methodologies within the functional area.
* Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional project groups to ensure scientific work is well-documented.
* Mentor less experienced staff on core functional technical and procedural matters.
* Conduct work within established workflows and regulations as described by SOPs and external guidance.
* Maintain meticulous attention to detail and adhere to company Policies and Procedures.
* Promote continuous improvement through effective Quality Management Systems.
* Ensure compliance with GMP and contribute to a best-in-class Quality culture.
* Responsible for maintaining own training file.
