As a People Business Partner (12-month contract) at Personio, you’ll partner closely with the People Business Partner team to provide best-in-class support to your client group.
Through proactive and customer-focused service, you’ll deliver effective guidance on a wide range of People areas, including employee relations, policies, and processes. Working alongside the PBP team, you will ensure operational readiness and contribute to organizational excellence, supporting our mission to redefine HR across Europe.
What You’ll Do:
1. Core Processes: Oversee key processes for your client groups, including probation management, onboarding/offboarding, and contract-related documentation.
2. Employee Relations: Resolve employee grievances, conduct investigations, facilitate conflict resolution, and guide performance improvement processes.
3. Engagement & Insights: Analyse engagement trends, conduct exit interview analyses, and develop action plans to address identified issues.
4. Collaboration: Partner with the PBP team and PWI Centers of Excellence to deliver high-quality outcomes on departmental initiatives and projects.
5. Coaching & Support: Guide managers on effectively managing teams, navigating HR processes, and improving management capabilities.
What You Need to Succeed:
1. 3+ years of experience in an HR Specialist, Advisor, or People Business Partner role, with a focus on employee relations and operational excellence.
2. Strong knowledge of HR policies, processes, and employment laws, with hands-on expertise managing complex employee relations cases.
3. Data-driven mindset, capable of interpreting people metrics and deriving actionable insights to improve organizational health and employee experience.
4. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively across teams.
5. High emotional intelligence, including expertise in conflict resolution, change management, and fostering team alignment.
6. Experience with HR systems (e.g., Personio) and data tools for tracking, reporting, and analysis.
