Location: Blackpool
Salary: £29,000 - £32,525 Depending on Experience
Earnings with sleeps: £34,175 - £37,700 (based on 10 sleep ins per month)
Hours : 40.5 per week
Shift Pattern: 1 shift on, 2 shifts off
Shift Start Times: Shifts start at 7am finishing at 11pm followed by a sleep in after every shift leaving the next day at 7:30am after a handover
Hexagon Care Services are a private provider of residential childcare in the country. We have over 50 Children’s Homes, 5 Crisis Intervention services, and 14 schools across England.
We are seeking to appoint a Senior Residential Support Worker for our children’s home. This is a great opportunity for someone to join our children’s home, learning from an experienced, skilled management team of like-minded individuals who share a passion for giving the children in care the very best support.
No two days will be the same supporting young people to achieve their very best. You will have a varied array of tasks whilst on shift; everything from cooking & cleaning, taking part in activities and games, taking Young People out to appointments/meetings, managing challenging behaviours, or even sitting and watching TV with the Young People.
We aim to create a positive, relaxed home environment where the young people feel safe, supported & listened to. You will be inducted by our industry leading, award winning learning & development team, and guided in your role by more senior staff members, including psychologists/therapy team to establish appropriate boundaries, manage behaviours effectively and nurture the young people in your care towards positive futures.
