Please note – this role will be required to be on call one week a month Key Responsibilities Help Identify vulnerabilities and collaborate with internal teams to resolve Support audit / compliance and assurance efforts to ensure regulatory and industry standards are maintained Have input in the direction of the Security of the company Monitor and respond to 2 nd line and above incidents Engage in incident response activities and defense (including out of hours response if required) Develop, update and enforce Cyber Security policies Manage user access to Systems and Data Conduct regular security training for internal staff utilizing internal training tool Technical Competencies Required Skills Required Understanding of Network Security Understanding of SIEM Knowledge of Vulnerability management Experience with technical document creation Knowledge of Microsoft tooling (Exchange, defender, Intune etc) Desired Experience with Threat analysis and Incident response Vulnerability Management Hands on Experience with EDR Technologies Experience working in a SOC or Incident response function Behavioural Competencies Analytical thinking Attention to Detail Passion for Cyber Security and Knowledge growth Able to stay calm during Cyber Incidents Able to adapt to a changing situation Integrity and Ethical Judgement Able to collaborate with other members of the business Continuous learning of Security threats, trends and technologies Capable of making information and timely decisions especially in high stress or ambiguous situations Qualifications & Experience Industry-standard certifications or equivalent experience (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GIAC, CompTIA, OSCP).
