Are you a great all-round Administrator looking for that next step? Looking for a varied position in an Owner Managed Business with plenty of autonomy? That special kind of person looking to make a difference in a business not just a role. You will have some solid office experience behind you and be naturally well-organised and used to working in a small team. Ideal for someone stuck in a rut looking to vary their role.
Our client is an off shoot of a well-known Cornish brand looking to fill this brand-new role. Giving support to the MD in this early-stage business with his ambitious growth plans. You will work in a close-knit small team in a familial environment. This opportunity is a classic operational support role helping the broader team and functions.
Although not a large part of the role, some bookkeeping or similar experience would be helpful. Otherwise, office administration and life experience generally are very welcome. Location is very rural so you will need your own transport. Easily commutable from central Cornwall.
Typical Responsibilities:
- Offering sales support particularly sales material and administration.
- Bookkeeping assistance particularly related to sales and credit control.
- Forecasting and purchasing for new and existing products with suppliers.
- Ensuring Technical Compliance is monitored and adhered to across the company.
- Organisation and coordination of new projects.
- HR administration.
- Answering calls, dealing with emails and various day-to-day tasks as required.
- Assisting and supporting the MD particularly with appointment and meetings.
- Supporting the strategy of the business and generally being able to fit into a close-knit team.
