Role Description:
The Non-Financial Regulatory Reporting Centre of Excellence (NFRR COE) performs governance & oversight for the Global Operations NFRR inventory of reports, as well as provides centralized processes and controls to support FLU NFRR Governance for Global Markets, GCIB, GPS and Enterprise Credit lines of business.
This job is responsible for providing analysis for one or more operations product areas in the delivery of moderately complex regulatory reporting and/or regulatory processing. Key responsibilities include analysing and resolving highly complex operations problems, projects and initiatives, and contributing to the resolution of highly complex problems. Job expectations include coordinating across multiple operations functions and products with the introduction of new initiatives, systems, products, services, and processes.
Responsibilities:
1. You will execute the QA Review process for policy adherence for the Global Operations portfolio of reports.
2. You will provide guidance and partner closely with Report Preparers, Manual Data Providers, and Report Owners in implementing the requirements of the Enterprise Regulatory Reporting Policy.
3. You will prepare and present materials to cross-functional stakeholders in the regional NFRR governance forum.
4. You will manage the execution of one or more NFRR processes and controls; manage the NFRR inventory, manage production health, monitor issue and data incidents, provide report production metrics and monitor regulatory change implementations.
5. You will ensure processes and controls perform within the NFRR Risk Appetite key risk indicator thresholds for the supported FLUs.
6. You will identify and execute continuous improvement opportunities to streamline and integrate business processes, enhance controls and improve data quality.
7. You will lead projects in collaboration with the Enterprise NFRR Center, FLU NFRR Governance and key stakeholders to manage risks and drive the implementation of enterprise program deliverables.
What we are looking for:
1. You will have experience in a Regulatory Reporting or Governance role, ideally in Banking or Financial Services.
2. You will have technical and data analytical skills (i.e., Excel and other similar applications) with experience in analysing and management reporting.
3. You will have advanced PowerPoint skills and executive presentation experience.
4. You will communicate effectively in both oral and written formats and tailor messages appropriately to audience level.
5. You will have demonstrated experience engaging with a diverse set of business partners to critically analyse issues, define action plans, and implement solutions.
6. You will have a proven ability to manage processes and drive improvements to processes, controls, and metrics in a matrixed environment.
Skills that will help (optional):
1. Prior experience implementing and managing QA Review process would be an advantage.
2. Tableau design and development experience would be an advantage.
3. Prior operations or project management experience supporting Global Markets, Global Payment Solutions or Global Corporate & Investment Banking would be an advantage.
4. Experience and skills in managing project deliverables and delivering on milestones would be an advantage.
