This individual will need to provide the support of fully integrated conference rooms, boardrooms, and a large multi-divisible space. The Technician interfaces daily with the customer and acts as an extension of their team at AVI-SPL. His/her responsibilities generally include the operation and functional testing of all AV and integrated conference room components/equipment. The Technician works in cooperation with the customer's UCC team in maintain their equipment and the user community to a high-quality standard. The Onsite AV Technician's responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Ensure all audio-visual and media services are delivered to the business in a professional and efficient manner. To take ownership of all AV issues onsite and be the single point of contact. Deliver a ‘white glove’ level of customer support to all end users. Offer support and assistance to clients both virtually and in person. Assist and support the client in the use of fixed and portable AV equipment. Ensure all video conferencing requirements for the client are met in full. Ensure all equipment onsite is maintained and kept in working order with all faults reported via the onsite procedures. Help and assist with the setup and teardown of scheduled onsite meetings. Daily system checks (before 9am) to ensure equipment and room functionality. Performs remote testing for local and regional offices. Carry out first/second line troubleshooting to AV equipment and rooms within time constraints. Work closely with the helpdesk and field service engineers, where required. Perform other AV-related tasks as directed by the client. Reporting – Collection, and entry of client statistical data including SLA performance, management information, team performance, and other business metrics for client. Maintain total confidentiality relating to information received for presentations and broadcasts etc. Nice to have work experince: Strong fault-finding experience on a variety of AV spaces (NEAT, Crestron Fusion & DM, Bi-Amp (Tesira & Ex-Mod), NEC projectors, Shure MXA910s) Working knowledge of industry-standard video conferencing platforms You As a business we aim to help every one of our employees achieve their potential, So if you are looking to become the best in what you do, AVI-SPL is the right place for you to call home. Reliable, conscientious character who takes pride in what they do and completing tasks on time. Ability to deal with difficult situations. Willing to undertake training and examinations to improve their technical knowledge.
