Sellick Partnership are delighted to be working with a local authority in Yorkshire on an exclusive basis for their permanent recruitment. They are seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis!
The successful candidate for the litigation legal assistant role will be required to pick up things including but not limited to:
* Provide administrative and case management support for the conduct of all legal work within the Team
* Attend and clerk school admission appeals
* Ensure strict compliance with court orders and liaise with client departments, barristers, solicitors, Legal Officer and members of the public, including the drafting/preparation of witness statements.
* Prepare court bundles
* Monitor court proceedings and provide back-up assistance to the Council's advocate in court as required, for example, sitting behind Counsel.
* Deal with sensitive personal information
