Here at BJF, we have a fantastic opportunity to join our exciting and expanding construction biased business, where YOU can help support the M&E team as a plumber pipefitter.
Working with a large portfolio of public and private sector clients, our UK based organisation comprises of several divisions including Mechanical & Electrical, Construction, Projects, Reactive, FM, Small Works and other associated trades.
Position
* Weekly flushing of little used outlets & emergency showers, Temperature monitoring of hot and cold-water systems, TMV full/minor servicing, Showers and spray tap quarterly descaling, purging of expansion vessels and Calorifiers/Water heater inspection and cleaning.
* Regular pool and pool plant checks
* Deliver in a timely manner both planned and corrective maintenance specific to water quality and systems
* To uphold and support the statutory and mandatory water quality responsibilities for and on behalf of the company
* Work effectively with other members of staff for New, maintenance and remedial works.
Requirements
* Previous experience working to regulations & standards including ACOP L8, HSG274 part 2 & 3, HTM04-01, BS 8558, BS 8680, and more.
* Mechanical/plumbing knowledge
* Compliance with all health and safety requirements and to adhere to the best working practices.
* Building relationships with longstanding clients
* Experience working in a hospital environment and/or on swimming pools is desirable
