As a Field Service Engineer at ManpowerGroup, you'll play a vital role in maintaining high-performance equipment for customers across the UK and Ireland.
This is a field/home office-based position with extensive travel to customer sites. You'll cover London, Slough, Bracknell, Maidenhead, Reading, Newbury, Swindon, Bath, Bristol, Newport, Cardiff, Port Talbot, and Swansea.
About the Role
* Maintain and repair complex equipment, from installations to providing exceptional customer support.
* Conduct site surveys, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure smooth operation of advanced systems.
You'll work on ground-breaking microscopy and optical equipment, contributing to customer success across various sectors.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Diagnosing and repairing equipment, performing installations, and executing preventive maintenance.
2. Keeping accurate service documentation and managing spare parts.
3. Providing technical support and alternative solutions to customers.
4. Participating in site surveys, meetings, and occasional international training.
5. Adhering to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* 2-3 years of experience in electronics or mechanical service roles.
* HNC/HND or equivalent hands-on experience.
* Customer-focused, strong communicator, and problem-solver.
* A valid UK driver's license and flexibility to travel extensively.
