The Role:
My client, based a short commute from Carterton is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Physics specialist Science Teacher to join their team on a full-time permanent basis from September 2025. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and marking engaging and compelling Science lessons across the Key Stage 3 curriculum as well as Physics at Key Stages 4 and 5. You will need to be confident in working closely with students across a range of academic abilities and have a genuine desire to see success in each of your students.

You will be joining one of the school’s largest and most successful departments, made up of a closely-knit team of dedicated and experienced Science Teachers and technicians. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute one of the school’s existing strengths and to take advantage of the extensive experience offered by the department. The successful Science Teacher can expect a salary in line with the main and upper teacher pay scale (£31,650 - £49,084).
