Quality engineer

JOB- Quality Engineer LOCATION – CambridgeTERM- PermanentSALARY- £40,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)We are looking for Quality Engineer on a permanent basis in the Cambridgeshire area with experience in a manufacturing industry. Your main duty will be maintaining and enhancing product and process quality. This role involves implementing quality control measures, conducting inspections, and driving improvements in manufacturing processes to ensure products meet stringent standards. The Quality Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
* Qualified in Engineering ideally (NVQ / HNC / HND / Degree or similar) OR Qualified by experience in Engineering
* Knowledge of QMS, either ISO9001, ISO 14001
* Maintain and update the Quality Management System (QMS) with incidents, corrective actions, and improvements.
* Conduct internal audits aligned with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001 standards.
* Be self-motivated and have a positive attitude
* Good problem-solving skills.
* Any relevant experience leading audits – beneficial but not needed
The Quality Engineer role will involve:
1. Ensuring that any failures are reviewed with manufacturing and engineering.
2. Ensuring all products meet the required quality standards.
