A large, prestigious UK membership organisation is looking to appoint their next Associate Director of Finance on an initial (minimum) 6m basis This is an excellent opportunity to lead a collaborative, high performing team through the upcoming year end and audit and into 2025. The Interim AD Finance's key responsibilities will include : Managing and developing a multi-site total team of ten via three direct reports Leading the organisation through year end and audit, including taking a lead role in preparing the annual report and consolidated accounts Working with your direct reports to improve processes and controls, improving efficiency and accuracy Supporting the Director of Finance with strategic finance initiatives and drives, whilst also taking a hands-on role in monthly and quarterly accounting and reporting Working closely with the Finance Business Partnering team, engaging with and influencing key stakeholders where required The successful candidate will : Be a CCAB qualified senior finance professional with significant experience in a senior financial leadership role Have excellent, proven team leadership experience including staff development and upskilling Be highly confident leading a medium-large sized organisation through a complex year end and audit, and have excellent consolidations experience Have experience working in an intercompany environment, ideally in the Not for Profit sector (however this is not essential) In our company values we aim for equity at all stages of the recruitment process, please let us know if we can do anything to make the process more accessible to you.
