SALARY: £23k – 26k (Depending on experience)
BASED: Loughborough (Travel is involved for events)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate, motivated and hard-working individual to join the operations and events team at Runner Retreats & RunThrough. At Runner Retreats we want to provide runners with unforgettable experiences in inspirational locations and we work closely with RunThrough to host running events and experiences here in the UK and abroad.
We are looking for a candidate to work alongside our operational lead, helping to plan and deliver events throughout the year. You will complete daily tasks including event logistics, planning, data management, customer relations, venue management and ensuring high-standards are maintained in relation to the preparation and delivery of events. This role will involve event work, including travel to and from events at weekends, so a full UK driving licence is required.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
* Maintain and develop relationships with current and potential venues which will host our runner retreats, camps and workshops
* Be a customer facing point of contact for Runner Retreats, making sure all our client databases are up to date
* Ongoing communication with clients pre and post event
* Ensure accurate event information is created and sent out to participants before every event
* Manage the backend booking system including minor website changes where our events are advertised.
* Attend Runner Retreats events including retreats, camps and workshops and being responsible for the smooth running of the operations. This currently includes 10 events in total however this job role will involve actively looking for future event opportunities.
* Attend 30 RunThrough events throughout the calendar year. This will include travel to events in the midlands and potentially the North West (driving time depending)
* Collaborate with the event team to plan and execute events including attending the weekly team meetings
Essential Skills and Requirements
* Strong operational and administrative skills
* Passionate about physical activity and running.
* Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
* Full manual driving licence.
* Strong time management skills.
* Willing to work weekends: early start, & late finish.
* Excellent organisation skills.
* Knowledge of the U.K running industry.
