Your role and responsibilities As the EDI Project Manager in the Public Health and Communities, Inclusion Team, you will play a key role in delivering projects and programmes with a primary focus on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, including the Public Sector Equality Duty. Your responsibilities will include: Driving forward the councils EDI plan. Identifying inequality in service delivery using data and evidence, and support commissioners and Directorates to address these issues. Working collaboratively across Suffolk County Council to maximise opportunities for shared resources and outcomes Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to foster a culture of inclusivity. Leading the development of a resource hub to support colleagues on EDI matters. Promoting and championing the the councils' achievements in relation to equality, diversity and inclusion.
