The school hiring a Behaviour Support Worker:
* Cater for children who have been diagnosed with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH) and barriers to their learning.
* Focus on helping these children access their education in the same way as their mainstream peers.
* Each child has an individualised plan and curriculum.
* Facilitate and provide specialist education, where educators and the multi-disciplinary team provide personalised interventions to support learning.
* Offer a supportive environment where you will be making a difference day in and out.
* Participate in rewarding work while adding valuable experience to your CV.
What the role as a Behaviour Support Worker entails:
* Facilitating and providing specific interventions to aid in children's learning.
* Creating a safe and secure environment for learning.
* Encouraging students to achieve their best academically, while also supporting their personal growth.
* Tracking their academic achievements.
* Understanding the importance of safeguarding.
Qualities you will need to be a great Behaviour Support Worker:
* Kind, caring, and compassionate.
* Determined to make a difference in the lives of the students.
* Patient and willing to adapt your approach to meet the needs of the students.
* Experience working with children, especially those with SEN, will be advantageous but not essential.
* Enhanced DBS check required; we can facilitate your application if you don't have one.
