The team co-locate in statutory and voluntary services, the service also provides Specialist Domestic Abuse Workers and Domestic Abuse Educational Programmes.A day in this role looks like….As a Service Manager at Hestia, you will play a crucial role in our Domestic Abuse Service. To excel in this role, you should possess:Ability to lead and motivate a team based across various premises to achieve service outcomesDemonstrable experience of managing accommodation based support services for clients who have complex and challenging mental health issues.Knowledge of methods of assessing, formulating, implementing, recording, reviewing and auditing service users' support and safety assessment plans.Excellent knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and how to implement policy in practice.Manage all elements of service performance related to the contract requirements including analysis of KPIs, outcomes and user experience measuresLead on the development and implementation the service's annual Business Plans.Ability to communicate confidently and effectively to a wide range of audiencesNumerate and literate with the ability to interrogate budgets, data and produce reportsAble to confidently use a range of IT packages including MS Office and databasesGood understanding of housing management and the ability to manage arrears, voids, health and safety and property standardsLead in planning, negotiating and managing the budgetsAn understanding of co-production and the ability to ensure that the service is delivered in partnership with service usersExperience of recruitment, induction, supervision, appraisal, training, disciplinary action and grievance issuesKnowledge and understanding of safeguarding issues and ability to address them appropriatelyOur commitment to Equality, Diversity, and InclusionOur services users come from all walks of life and so do we.
