Primary Responsibilities 1. Maintaining and monitoring the Practice appointment system 2. Process personal, telephone and e-requests for appointments 3. Answer incoming phone calls, transferring calls or dealing with the callers requests appropriately. 4. Monitoring and signposting patient requests from our line consultation system, PATCHS 5. Care navigate patients to the correct service 6. Initiating contact with and responding to, requests from patients, team members and external agencies 7. Importing Photocopy documentation as required 8. Data entry of new and temporary registrations and relevant patient information as required 9. Input data into the patient's healthcare records as necessary 10. Provide cover for our Secretary on a Monday and Tuesday and also on occasions of annual leave and sickness 11. Manage all queries as necessary in an efficient manner 12. Maintain a clean tidy, effective working area at all times 13. Monitor and maintain the Reception area and notice boards 14. Support all clinical staff with general tasks as requested
