Role purpose:
As the Regional Marketing Manager, you are the key representative for the UKI market. You will be a key player in planning and delivering marketing initiatives to drive demand and foster brand awareness within the UKI market. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams with a focus on Marketing and Sales Management, you will be responsible for implementing regional marketing programs tailored to local markets, ensuring alignment with the Group Marketing Strategy targeting Sales growth. This position requires a unique blend of strategic thinking, tactical execution and strong communication, writing, presentation, and relationship development skills.
Key responsibilities:
1. Regional Marketing Strategy: Management and execution of the regional Marketing Strategy, aligned with the overall Group Marketing Strategy and considering the unique characteristics of the market.
2. Market Intelligence: Exchange with the Go-To-Market team on market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to adapt regional marketing strategies and identify new opportunities for the UKI region.
3. Sales Alignment: Close collaboration with the Sales teams while understanding the strategic market and customer needs. Alignment of the marketing efforts with the Marketing and Sales management objectives and planning of joint data-based call-to-action plans to drive overall success.
4. Marketing Alignment: Alignment with the Marketing leadership on the Go-To-Market and Marketing Activation & Brand plan.
5. Lead Generation and Demand Generation: Execution of brand, nurturing and lead generation activities and Go-To-Market programs to engage with prospects and customers and to increase the sales pipeline.
6. Performance Measurement and Marketing Analytics: Monitoring and analysis of the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and activities while using data-driven Martech insights to optimize performance and ROI (Return on investment).
7. Management and responsibility for the UKI marketing budget.
What you need to succeed in the role:
* Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
* Minimum 7 years of experience in global or regional field marketing e.g. Digital and Performance Marketing, Event Management, Content development, Product/Services Marketing, social media, Budget Management; experience in financial services is a plus
* Highly self-directed and motivated with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills and an ability to work in collaboration with other business units.
* Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
* Analytical mindset with proficiency in using marketing analytics and reporting tools (e.g. CRM, Website Content Management Systems, Marketing Automation Tools, etc.).
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
* Flexibility to travel internationally as required for events and meetings.
* Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to plan innovative marketing approaches.
* Fluent English language skills, other languages are a plus
