Working within a busy, multi-faceted modern hospitality operation comprising a boutique hotel, bar, restaurant, and nightclub this is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious food and beverage professional looking to gain incredible experience and valuable industry insight with one of Edinburgh's most respected operators. With the hotel and nightclub operations functioning mostly independently, this is a role for an experienced bar-restaurant AGM, or an exceptional supervisor with a background in similarly high-end venues, to make a name for themselves.
Key information:
£32-35k pa depending on experience basic salary
Expected minimum £6k pa Tips – 100% of tips go to staff
42-hour contract
Managerial oversight of multi-faceted destination venue with focus on Bar & Restaurant operations
28-30 days annual leave and a flexible schedule

The Successful Candidate will show:
Proven track record in a similar environment – 3-4 years supervisory/AGM experience
A positive attitude and a personal and professional commitment to hospitality
Team-management skills and the necessary character to engage productively and proactively with multiple departments and other units
A desire to excel and progress
The ability to maximise sales through targeted upselling, promotions and customer engagement
A passion for food and food service; experience expediting in a busy restaurant environment
A strong background in wet-led sales, including excellent cocktail knowledge and experience working with brand promotions
Up-to-date industry and market knowledge
Relevant qualifications: Personal License Holder, Allergen Awareness, Food Safety
Understanding of necessary IT environment and some familiarity with financial reporting, planning and targeting
