Job Title: Teaching Assistant Location: North West England, Lancashire, Lytham St Anne's Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Part-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £12.90 - £13.50 Per hour Job Duties: Supporting classroom teachers in delivering lessons Assisting with the preparation of learning materials Working with individual students or small groups to provide additional support Helping to maintain a positive learning environment Supervising students during activities and break times Required Qualifications: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Relevant experience working with children or young people Good communication and interpersonal skills Education: Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Additional qualifications in education or childcare are desirable Experience: Experience working in a classroom or educational setting Experience supporting students with learning difficulties or disabilities is advantageous Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of child development and learning processes Ability to work effectively as part of a team Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting students Preferred Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification First Aid certification Working Conditions: Part-Time hours, typically during school term times Working within a school environment alongside teachers and other support staff Opportunities for professional development and training All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
