LOCATION: Bracknell (Hybrid Working - 60% Office based)
The role:
The Pre-Sales IT Solutions Consultant will play a pivotal role in driving the sales process by providing technical expertise and commercial acumen. Working closely with the sales team, you will identify, qualify, and present technical solutions that are commercially sound andmeet customer needs, while aligning with our company's strategic objectives.
Technical Expertise:
* Possess a deep understanding of IT solutions and managed services, including hardware, software, EUC, Break/Fix and cloud-based technologies.
* Provide technical support and guidance to the sales team during the sales cycle.
* Conduct technical demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Customer Engagement:
* Build strong relationships with prospective clients and understand their business requirements.
* Engage with clients to conduct thorough needs assessments and translate these into technical and commercial solutions.
* Assist in managing Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) by providing detailed technical solutions and input.
* Conduct technical needs assessments and identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling.
* Collaborate with the sales team to develop tailored sales proposals, pricingand presentations.
Solution Development:
* Design and configure technical solutions that meet customer requirements and align with company objectives.
* Collaborate with product teams to ensure the timely delivery of solutions.
* Provide technical input into contract negotiations and pricing.
Sales Support:
* Participate in sales meetings and provide technical expertise as needed.
* Assist in the development of sales strategies, pricing models and tactics.
* Provide post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
* Strong Commercial and Technical knowledge with proven experience in a pre-sales or technical sales role within the IT industry, including working with pricing models.
* Strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, EUC, break/fix maintenance, Managed Services and cloud technologies.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Certifications in relevant IT technologies (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, AWS, Azure).
* Experience with CRM and sales enablement tools.
* Familiarity with the company's product offerings and industry verticals.
