This position is a Temp to Perm role, starting ASAP or January 2025, offering a fantastic opportunity to foster a love for learning and help students excel in English. Role Overview: We are looking for a motivated and experienced teacher to deliver high-quality English lessons, making challenging concepts accessible and engaging. This role is suitable for both Fully Qualified Teachers (FQT) and Early Career Teachers (ECT) seeking to advance their careers. Key Responsibilities: Teach engaging English lessons that inspire curiosity and a passion for learning. Contribute to behaviour management and maintain high standards in teaching. Foster a supportive and safe learning environment. Participate in developing syllabuses, lesson materials, and schemes of work. Must be willing to travel, if and when needed, to cover at another school within the same trust. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Strong knowledge of the UK Secondary English curriculum. Specialism in English or relevant qualifications. Enhanced Child DBS (we can assist with obtaining this). Overseas Police clearance (if applicable). Preferred but not essential: Experience in teaching English or Drama.
