Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Play Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and the ability to create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment for play and learning. As a Play Worker, you will be responsible for facilitating activities that promote social, emotional, and physical development in children. Your role will be ensuring that each child feels valued and supported during their time with us.
Responsibilities
1. Supervise and engage with children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
2. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that encourage creativity, teamwork, and personal development.
3. Communicate effectively with children.
4. Manage behaviour in a positive manner, using appropriate strategies to promote good conduct.
5. Work collaboratively with other staff members to create a cohesive team atmosphere.
6. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of play areas and equipment.
7. Provide feedback to parents or guardians regarding children's progress and behaviour when necessary.
Experience
1. Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting is essential.
2. A background in Early Childhood Education.
