What We’re Looking For:
The ideal candidate will be a compassionate leader with the following qualifications:
1. Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it) with at least 5 years of experience in the care sector.
2. Demonstrated leadership skills and a proven ability to manage teams effectively.
3. Experience in supporting individuals with complex needs.
4. Strong knowledge of CQC requirements and best practices in the care sector.
5. Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As Care Team Manager, you’ll enjoy a role that combines autonomy, variety, and the chance to make a meaningful impact. Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Comprehensive Care Planning: Conduct care needs assessments, produce care plans, and oversee their implementation.
2. Training and Collaboration: Provide staff training and work closely with colleagues and healthcare professionals.
3. Quality Assurance: Monitor safety and quality, contributing to continuous improvement and co-designing effective systems.
4. Team Leadership: Support recruitment, performance management, and training of staff, including hands-on mentoring of Team Leaders.
5. Service Development: Drive innovation by identifying opportunities for improvement, challenging poor practices, and promoting excellence.
6. Operational Oversight: Manage rotas, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with safeguarding, data protection, and health and safety policies.
7. Hands-On Support: Participate in an on-call rota and provide direct care support as needed.
