You will be leading a team to cultivate a high-performance culture of collaboration, continuous improvement and optimisation. You will be critical to both the ongoing development and implementation of an engineering strategy through both innovative solutions and installing individual and team ownership. Senior Manufacturing Engineer.Operational and Business Excellence through Six Sigman and Lean Principles Optimisation to help achieve efficiency gains and process improvementsDevelopment of best practise methodoligies and implemetation of the overall engineering strategyManage and account for risk assesment and safety improvments within productionEnsure quality standards of the team meet with KPI expectationsDevelopment of value streams within SOP's Manage plans and budgets, cell enhancements and operational perfromance of the teamTo provide support to the design team during R&D phases of new product realisation.To carry out product testing prior to market launch to ensure all safety and quality requirements are metAs a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, ideally you will have.Ideally a Level 8 qualification in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Technology.At least 8 years' within a manufacturing and engineering facility with a minimum of 3 years experience within a senior/ management/leadership roleThorough understanding and demonstrable experience of Lean Manufacturing techniques and introduction of these techniques.Demonstrable experience of leading a team towards indictative and measurable improvements within a manufacturing facility.
