Closing date: Thursday 20th March 2025 Interview date: week commencing 31st March 2025 About the role You will provide solution-focused advice on governance issues. As a member of the Corporate Law Team, you will work closely with the Council’s Monitoring Officer and will be involved in a wide range of public law matters such as the Constitution, elections, Local Government Reform and Devolution, member conduct and information law. The Team also provides Monitoring Officer support to East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service. Some experience in public law is preferable for this role. Excellent attention to detail as well as client care, communication skills, a positive attitude and a willingness to develop in the role are essential.
