They are looking for an Engineering Access Planning Manager to lead on negotiating and implementing Engineering Access Plans that balance operational excellence with customer satisfaction. You'll play a pivotal role in developing future strategies, optimising timetables during planned engineering works, and ensuring compliance with our regulatory and franchise obligations. As a key contact for Network Rail and internal stakeholders, you'll bring people together to deliver innovative timetable solutions that drive performance and delight our customers.

What You'll Bring to the Role:
Proven expertise in Engineering Access and Timetable Planning Processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead negotiations with Network Rail from T-104 to T-28 and develop future strategies.
Ensure cross-functional dialogue during the development of Engineering Access Plans and amended timetables.
Produce and manage key documents such as the annual Possession Plan, Restriction of Use document, and Possession Register.
Ensure timetables meet T-12 regulatory requirements and franchise obligations, delivering robust contingency plans.
Manage and support a team of specialists, promoting innovation and continuous improvement.
Develop and maintain budgets, including Schedule 4 and diversionary route planning.
What You'll Need:
Deep knowledge of Network Rail's operational rules, engineering strategies, and train planning systems.
Strong understanding of the client’s operations, markets, and performance drivers.
Analytical skills, computer literacy, and financial management experience.
Proven track record in people management and resource allocation.
