You will own and refine our mortgage product range, balancing customer needs with commercial goals and risk management. Youll drive pricing strategy, implement innovative models like price elasticity, and ensure our products deliver fair value under the FCAs Consumer Duty. Heres a taste of what you will be doing as a Mortgage Product Manager at Nottingham Building Society: - Own and maintain the Societys mortgage product range, ensuring we continue to balance customer needs, commercial objectives, operational capacity and risk appetite. Develop and maintain our mortgage product and pricing strategy for example, implement a price elasticity model and develop the key principles that shape pricing decisions. In doing so, play a key role in driving the Lending teams commercial performance. Deliver periodic product reviews and fair value assessments to ensure we continue to delight customers and adhere to the price and value aspects of the FCAs Consumer Duty. Contribute to the development of new mortgage propositions for extra ordinary borrowers (EOBs) who are under-served in the market. Undertake market and competitor analysis to help shape our mortgage proposition and pricing. Collaborate effectively with Finance, Treasury and Savings colleagues to ensure an effective and coherent approach to trading performance and financial risk management. Own and develop key policies and frameworks that relate to mortgage products and pricing. Work closely with Lending colleagues across sales, operations and other areas to ensure product and pricing decisions and well understood and take account of colleague, customer and broker feedback. Play a role in telling the story to colleagues in terms of our product range and commercial performance. About you: - Transferable experience within a similar mortgage (or retail financial services) product / pricing role Experience in understanding customer needs and influencing customer outcomes. Strong knowledge of the UK mortgage market including customer and commercial trends. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to synthesise complex information for a range of stakeholders including senior management. Strong data skills including relevant software Excel, PowerBI etc as appropriate. A curious and proactive nature, particularly around future trends and developments that could benefit the Society and its customers. Lead by example by fully championing new ways of working and role modelling the use of new systems and data. Ability to shape recommendations based on the evidence both quantitative and qualitative.
