Job Description: Qualified MFL Teacher - French and Spanish

Job Duties:
The Qualified MFL Teacher will be responsible for planning, preparing and delivering high-quality lessons in French and Spanish. They will create engaging and interactive learning experiences, assess students' progress, and provide feedback to support their development. The teacher will also participate in parent-teacher meetings, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to the wider school community.
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Specialism in French and Spanish
- Relevant degree in Modern Foreign Languages or related field
Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is required.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching French and Spanish languages at the secondary school level.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in MFL
- Experience in using technology to enhance language teaching
Working Conditions:
The role involves working in a school environment, following term-time schedules, and participating in extracurricular activities as required. The teacher may also be involved in school events and training sessions outside regular hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
