With guidance from your manager and other members of the team, you’ll be the one that makes ideas become a reality – whether it’s the branding and styling of our 500 delegate annual conference and awards evening, or a guide to support customers using our technology and everything in-between. In your role you will undertake all the key design processes and support wider areas of the business to ensure consistency. You'll develop strong relationships with everyone you work with. You'll particularly enjoy getting to know our people and get a real sense of accomplishment seeing your work come to life Key Responsibilities Graphic Design Lead all design across several brands to ensure a consistent, engaging, and visually appealing output across all respective channels (Web, video, email, social, events, content, print). Work closely on projects with other marketing team colleagues such as the Marketing Managers and Marketing and Events Executive. Act as a point of contact for all design support requests from around the business. Understand and interpret briefs from a range of stakeholders within the business. Proofread and prepare designs to be sent to print. Identify ways of improving our processes and outputs and making recommendations to your line manager. Key skills, knowledge and experience required: We're searching for an organised people person who knows what great design is and has what it takes to deliver it, as well as: A degree-level qualification in a design-related subject with at least 12 months of experience. Excellent knowledge of design principles with the ability and willingness to communicate these to those less knowledgeable. Demonstrable experience of working with all major design applications such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop to create visual designs. Demonstrable experience of working with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects to create video content. Highly self-motivated with a creative flair and an eye for detail that knows how to prioritise and organise their workload. Experience of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent listening and questioning skills to ensure full comprehension of all briefs. Be willing to travel for major in-person events and monthly team meetings at either our Basildon or Nottingham office.
