Collecting health records, patient results and pharmacy items. Dealing with ward mail and other correspondence. Co-ordinate the ordering of NHSP staff at the discretion of Department Manager and Deputy. Other clerical duties such as photocopying and faxing. Assist with maintenance or stores and equipment with careful stock control. Create Datix reports for all breaches in the department. Assist with keeping accurate Audits for the department. File all patient information accurately and securely within the health record in a timely manner in accordance with Trust policy Maintain the knowledge and skills necessary to perform your role effectively and ensure evidence of competence is provided to line manager. Recognise own limitations and seek advice when appropriate, identifying own learning needs to discuss with line manager/appraiser. Participate in an annual appraisal with relevant reviewers and to follow your personal development plan as agreed with your line manager. Assist in maintaining a clean and tidy environment at all times. Report any concerns or problems to line manager. Undertake all mandatory training. Participate in ward meetings and be involved in the decision-making process when changes take place.
