How you’ll play your part
In this role, you will play a key role in supporting the effective management of reporting, third-party interactions, regulatory projects, and operational insights within the Collections department. The primary objective is to maximise value from the Appointed Representative (AR) by ensuring compliance, operational efficiency, and the smooth execution of key tasks. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain exposure to retail collections, quality assurance, reporting, and regulatory processes.
You will study towards an apprenticeship.
Main Accountabilities
1. Assist the Principal Collections Manager in supporting the UK activity relating to the Collections process supporting customers experiencing payment issues with their finance contract.
2. Run regular reporting on key performance measures and interpret the data.
3. Check invoices and reconcile against relevant systems and pass for payment when completed.
4. Perform Internal Control Testing to evidence processes cover requirements and highlight any anomalies to the line management.
5. Provide ad hoc support to the existing team of Analysts to enhance services and culture.
6. Raise and progress IT support tickets on behalf of the teams.
7. Support on organising and updating risk acceptance documents, progress risk closure activity and update as and when required.
8. Create and submit starter and leaver applications and IT issues on behalf of users and regularly audit access rights.
About you
9. A strong team player that is comfortable working independently or as part of a wider team.
10. Clear, concise written and verbal communicator with good MS Office skills, particularly Excel.
11. Self-motivated with the ability to learn and work within a pressurised environment whilst maintaining focus on personal, departmental and company objectives.
12. Excellent attention to detail.
