Mechanic / Automotive Technician - From: £28000 to £38000 depending on experience.

Responsibilities as the Mechanic / Automotive Technician:
1. Vehicle Diagnostics and Repairs: Conduct thorough diagnostics to identify issues and perform skilled repairs on various vehicle makes and models.
2. Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake inspections, and fluid checks, to ensure vehicles are in optimal condition.
3. Specialised Services: Undertake specialised services such as battery replacements, brake pad replacements, and air conditioning system maintenance.
4. Engine and Transmission Work: Diagnose and repair engine and transmission issues, with the ability to handle more extensive tasks like engine rebuilds and transmission flushes.
5. Carbon Cleaning: Apply advanced techniques in carbon cleaning to enhance vehicle performance.
6. Thorough Vehicle Inspections: Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections, ensuring the highest quality standards.
7. M.O.T Failure Repairs: Undertake repairs for M.O.T failure, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
8. Utilise Diagnostic Tools: Effectively use diagnostic tools for troubleshooting and accurate problem identification.
9. Quality Workmanship: Identify and correct vehicle defects with a focus on delivering quality workmanship.
10. Address All Vehicle Repairs: Resolve all other vehicle repairs as required, demonstrating versatility in your skillset.
11. Electrical Diagnostics: Identify electrical faults using specialist tools.
Requirements as a Mechanic / Automotive Technician:
1. Proven experience as an Automotive Technician/Mechanic, hands-on experience.
2. NVQ Level Two/Three Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification desirable.
3. Proficiency in vehicle diagnostics and repairs.
4. Knowledge of the latest automotive technologies.
5. Strong problem-solving skills.
6. Out of the box thinking.
7. Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.
8. Effective communication and customer service skills.
9. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
10. Vehicle electrical system knowledge and ability to diagnose and repair.
11. Well organised.
