Job Title: Store Assistant
Hours: Part-time. The standard rota will be the below although we will require some flexibility around this:
Vacancy 1:
* Week 1 Thursday 9am-5pm and Saturday 9am-5pm.
* Week 2 Monday 9am-5pm, Wednesday 9am-5pm.
Vacancy 2:
1. Week 1 Monday 9am-5pm and Friday 9am-5pm.
2. Week 2 Friday 9am-5pm and Saturday 9am-5pm
Salary: £8,995 per year (this salary will be reviewed April 25)
Location: Our Additional Lengths Store in Wellington Square, TS18 1RG

About the role
Our Store Assistants provide customer service, sales, and inventory support to the store and salon. Some of the key duties that you will be responsible for include:
* Warmly greeting customers and providing them advice on hair extensions and related products.
* Using your exceptional product knowledge to provide customers with an effective and bespoke service to match them to the appropriate products.
* Driving sales through upselling and cross-selling products and accessories.
* Assisting with receiving, unpacking, and organising stock deliveries, ensuring products are correctly labeled, displayed, and stored correctly.
* Support with the ongoing cleanliness and maintenance of the store and salon.
* Using the point-of-sale (POS) system to process orders and maintain accurate sales records.
* Supporting our Stylists where required.
About you
We’re ideally looking for someone with:
* Experience within a face-to-face customer service environment.
* A genuine interest in hair products.
* A high level of organisation skills with the ability to prioritise and adapt.
* Proficient IT skills with the ability to use POS systems.
* Experience in a consultative selling approach would be an advantage.
