What You'll Do: The Account Director will be responsible for managing the team that oversees all partnerships across the Arts & Entertainment events portfolio. This person will be adept at working with big brand partnerships across multiple projects and managing a team. You will ensure execution and results are achieved at the highest standard with a key passion for brands and events. Event portfolio to include but not limited to; Taste of London, Taste Global Properties, Big Feastival, Hyde Park Winter Wonderland, Glide at Battersea Power Station, Hampton Court Palace Festival. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities Responsible for the delivery of all partnerships across the Arts and Entertainment division Lead a team in developing and implementing all aspects of partnerships from marketing, ticketing to production Management of external and internal resource in freelancers and operations managers Work with brands on core mid to long-term strategies and deliver across one or multiple properties Support the Sales division on partner renewals and new deals Overall responsibility for all ‘Cost Of Sale’ budgets and working closely with the Event Directors to align with the overall event budget, manage invoicing and spend reporting Strong commercial thinking to identify commercial enhancements within contracts and recognise opportunities for upselling. Implement monitoring and evaluation methods for partner activity to ensure positive ROI outcomes Lead and develop relationships between partners and internal stakeholders to ensure activation is delivered successfully Take ownership of projects and responsibilities to support and drive innovative initiatives for the wider Global Partnerships and Arts & Entertainment divisions. Develop and present post event reviews for partners and ensure the team members do so to standard. Demonstrate a good understanding of the entertainment and events industry and future trends in sponsorship Manage challenging situations with partners and internal colleagues as effectively as possible to ensure a positive solution is achieved Create and optimise systems of working to ensure all partner needs are met in a timely and effective manner, including finance, administration, etc. Key Results Areas Positive post event reviews and successful renewal of sponsorships across the portfolio Driving additional revenue for Global Partnerships and the Events Portfolio Managing and motivating a high-performance team Developing a strong working relationship with all internal departments and external suppliers in order to deliver Sponsor packages as efficiently and cost effectively as possible. Working Conditions: Permanent, London Chiswick Park Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm Unusual Challenges or Circumstances e.g. shift(s)/ unsocial hours/ travel etc Occasional need for international travel for global Taste events. Occasional weekend and evening work where you may be required to travel to events in line with the Arts & Entertainment portfolio, including Taste of London, Big Feastival, and Winter Wonderland. Outside of event travel there may be a requirement to travel to client meetings. You Have These: 6-8 years’ experience in entertainment, music or sport sponsorship for either an agency or rights holder. Strong understanding of the entertainment, sponsorship and events industry and future trends with a passion for working with brands. Successful in building high performance teams and driving team efficiencies, ability to develop and coach teams for success whilst creating an environment of accountability. Commercially driven. Adept at conflict management. Strong understanding of financial, legal, marketing and operational business functions Excellent time management skills, ability to work calmly under pressure whilst meeting deadlines. Proven organisational and administrative skills: capacity to multitask and prioritise. Strong verbal and written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail. Good working knowledge of MS Office software, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Ability to build long lasting working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at a senior level.
